Partner Joseph R. Williams, weighed in on a new anti-bias rule adopted by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court from his perspective as Allegheny County Bar Association president.
The Court approved new language making it “professional misconduct” for an attorney to “knowingly engage in conduct constituting harrassment or discrimination” based on race, sex, religion or other categories in the course of practicing law.
